Google MapsI am thankful every day I came across Accessway Disability Support for my 17 year old son. Right from the intake it felt like they had my son’s best interest at heart. My son was very stand offish at the start and most would have thought he was rude, but Jacob and Campbell were so understanding. In the short time he has had Campbell as a support person there has been a real shift in every aspect of his personality. I can see the light back in him now as he confidently goes about his day. He talks to me more and has even started giving me random hugs, which I don’t need to tell anyone is the best feeling in the world. I could go on and on about how fantastic this company is, as it was the best decision I have made for my son and I guarantee anyone who gives them a chance will feel the same way.

Google MapsI have chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and FND. In june2024 I collapsed and was diagnosed FND.i was paralysed and in hospital for a while. After I came out I needed more support. The agency I was with couldn't provide support workers who could cope with my various issues. So I advertised. Accessway was the organisation I chose. Their staff know iam their priority. All the other support workers i have had from other companies would sit on the lounge scrolling on the phone and yelling is there something I can do for you.Yes. Get off your bum and come to my room. It is my bad days so you need to stay with me and help me .All too hard. Never see them again. Accessway staff. Walk in with a beautiful smile, looking like she is happy to be here. Says good morning to the lady I live with. She will come and we will work out our day. Some days she will be be blunt and say I don't look good acnd it would be better to stay home and she will do my grocery shopping. Me being pigheaded would want to go out. She was right didn't last long in woolies. She would sit me down, get me s cold drink anda sweet. She has learnt the little signs that it is a stay at home day. She will ask if I need a drink or something to eat. Or take breakthrough meds as it looked like I was in a lot of pain. She keeps my house clean. She says you want a home not a house. She knows the signs to stay and when to call the ambulance. She would always ensure I have eaten, taken my meds, have bottles of water around,my fall alarm within hand distance before she leaves. The thing that makes me happy is they are a church organisation. I know my house and belongings are safe. They were sent to me at my most challenging time. All the other agencies were not able to supply support workers for my health conditions. But Acessway has. They treat you with respect and care. And make you feel that the problem you have is not a big deal. Someone is watching. Watching and making sure you are taken care of.
