Privacy statement

NDIS Provider Review respects your privacy. We do not require an account to browse the directory. Search queries and browsing activity may be processed to operate and improve the service.

If you contact us by email, we use your message and address only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We count provider profile visits, clicks on website, call and email links, and how often provider listings are shown and clicked in lists. These counts do not use cookies or any browser identifier. We share aggregate counts with providers and may use them to invite providers to claim their listing. This tracking does not record your name, contact details, or the content of calls or emails.

Standard web analytics or hosting logs may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. You can contact us to ask about information we hold about you.

ChatGPT plugin, Claude connector and other AI assistants

When you use Find an NDIS provider in ChatGPT, our Claude connector, or another assistant connected to our MCP server at ndisprovider.review/mcp, the assistant sends the tool inputs needed to fulfil your request to our service. These may include a provider name, service category, state, city, suburb, postcode, language preference or provider listing ID. Our service uses these inputs to search public directory listings and returns public provider information and source links to the assistant.

These integrations do not require a participant account and do not access private participant records. Our application code does not store your conversation or log tool inputs and results. Cloudflare hosts the service and may process request metadata, including IP addresses, for hosting, security and operational logs. We use request IP addresses to limit traffic. The assistant’s handling of your conversation and tool results is governed by your account settings with that assistant’s provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, and their policies.

Do not include NDIS numbers, diagnoses, plan documents or other sensitive personal information in provider-search requests. For privacy questions or requests about information we hold, contact us.

NDIS Price Guide browser extension

The NDIS Price Guide extension for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox does not collect, store or send personal information. It has no access to the pages you visit and makes no network requests: the NDIS price list is packaged inside the extension.

When you select text and choose “Look up “…” in NDIS Price Guide” from the right-click menu, the extension uses that text only on your device to search the price list. It passes the text to the side panel or sidebar through the browser’s session storage, which the browser clears when it closes. It keeps your chosen price zone and the item numbers of your six most recently viewed support items in the browser’s extension storage on your device. If browser sync is turned on, your browser may sync the price zone setting to your Google, Microsoft or Mozilla account. Removing the extension deletes this data. Links you open from the extension, such as to our website, are handled as described above.

TrustCard for NDIS Providers WordPress plugin

When a website uses our WordPress plugin, that website’s server requests the public listing it is set up to show from our API, usually about every 12 hours in the background (more often while our API can’t be reached, and when the site owner saves the plugin settings). The request includes the listing’s profile ID, the website’s home address in the request’s user agent, and the server’s IP address. We use this to return the listing’s name, NDIS registration status, rating, review count, claimed and featured status, and, if the site shows the reviews widget for a featured listing, the listing’s latest published reviews with their star rating, the reviewer’s display name and the review date. We also use it to understand which websites use the plugin.

The plugin does not send information about the website’s visitors to us and does not set cookies. Visitors who select a widget come to our website, which is covered by this statement.

NDIS Provider Review Badge Wix app

When someone visits a Wix site that shows our badge, the visitor’s browser requests that site’s public listing summary from our website: the listing’s name, NDIS registration status, rating, review count and claimed status. Like any website request, this includes the visitor’s IP address, browser details and the address of the page they are on, which Cloudflare, our host, may process in security and operational logs. We don’t use these requests to identify or track visitors, and the badge sets no cookies.

The app stores only the listing link and display settings the site owner chooses, inside the site in Wix. Wix runs the app, and Wix’s handling of the site and its visitors is governed by Wix’s policies. Visitors who select the badge come to our website, which is covered by this statement.
