Google MapsConsidering their role is to transport people they have some very dangerous drivers. Case in point, overtaking a motorcycle rider whilst still in the same lane as the rider. Terrible driving.

Google MapsExperience 1. When signed up to the Access Sydney Community Transport we were told that we need to give at least 2 weeks notice to organize transport, but the problem with that is that medical procedures at hospitals need to be confirmed 24 hours earlier before they proceed, so booked transport before then could need to be cancelled, patients could also be asked to come in the next day, but this service will not be able to organize transport in that short time span. - Experience 2. Knowing that a Silverline Taxi cab fare costs $38 to get to the destination, and so deciding to use the Access Sydney Community Transport because it then only cost $10 from passenger's pocket, the service was unable to transport the passenger back home for some personal family matters reason outside of work duty, so the passenger was given by the service driver 3x $20 Vouchers ($60 value) to get home by random taxi, of which a different taxi cab company driver refused to take vouchers without cash on top stating that the journey will cost over $60, obviously the cab driver was a scammer, the passenger went around various brand cab providers haggling the price down to the $60 value vouchers and came home safely. A Few weeks later the passenger received a shocking bill for $340+ from this Access Sydney Community Transport, luckily quoting passenger's Centrelink number over the phone reduced the price down to $0, by the way that's almost 10x more than what the journey cost by taxi cab (Silverline), an Ambulance ride is around $510 in year 2022 (also $0 when quoting Centrelink, done that too). Experience 3. Transport is needed to get to a hospital near Hornsby and back for a special medical procedure that cannot be done elsewhere and needs to be confirmed 24 hours earlier, most Taxi fare estimates calculate that it costs $150 Return journey ($75 each way), however Access Sydney Community Transport is unable to provide service to that region and only offered a one time only $20 Voucher posted by mail for the one way journey, which probably won't arrive in the mail posted within a week, it seems that it is better to have a disability and apply for the Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme (TTSS) as they offer 50% off the fare each way of a journey up to $60 capped. What is the reason why Community Transport Service cannot provide 3x $20 vouchers for each journey direction (6x $20 Total) like they have done in the past? Experience 4. Any family member who has access to NDIS Transport cannot travel in same vehicle with Access Sydney Community Transport passenger, so when a hospital forbids patients from going home alone under the influence of General anesthesia unless someone who is not a stranger accompanies them, you are out of luck! Conclusion : Save up your money and call a Taxi service or Uber, though Very expensive it will actually be there to serve you transport to your destinations when you want it to, when you need it to, and on your terms and conditions, Access Sydney Community Transport cannot provide and serve anything it seemed so far. Maybe 5th time will get lucky? Let's all hope so.. (In the Religion that everyone seems to be hating these days, it is forbidden to put parents into a nursing home, they looked after you when you was a child, you must look after them when they become like a child, so if you are not disabled Please! take your parents to their desired or required destinations and look after them, tend to their needs, look after them yourself, tell your siblings and all children to do the same, even if you are not a member of it or hate it as well, no one can escape old age and disability.. yet that is, and it's coming for you, unlike this transport service :)

Google MapsLove this service the staff, drivers, Assistants are all friendly very helpful and patient. It is disappointing that when clients get transferred to Homecare packages the price goes up far to high to justify using them which is a disappointment as my mother loved using this service
