Google MapsWe have the highest respect for Tai as a practitioner. My husband has a rare neurodegenerative condition, when we first met Tai, he knew very little about this condition however he made it his duty to learn more about this condition Multiple System Atrophy type Cerebellum (MSA-C), he has developed a friendly light hearted relationship with hubby kindly pushing him to keep working when his muscles don’t want to obey. Although this is a disease that there is no cure and no treatment, Tai has adjusted his treatment to help Hubby. Tai is a great personable guy, easy to talk to and a great listener, always offering to solutions to problems and help and non judgemental. He is always on time and never misses an appointment unless he lets us know in advance.
I have been getting physio work to help me with my walking. And since starting my training, my walking has improved significantly. I am more contiguous of my walking and am feeling a significant improvement. I cannot thank my trainer Tai enough. A credit to his profession.
Tai, one of your physios, visits me at home and has been excellent . I live in Arcare following a stroke and for the first twelve months, I needed all cares. I couldn’t walk, dress myself, I was urinary incontinent and I didn’t talk. I have no memory of being in this state. However, I , at the earliest memory, started to talk and became friendly with the exercise therapist who works here. He holds classes three mornings a week and encouraged me to come. I went and soon managed to perform the exercises. As well, when time allowed John would take me for a walk with the wheelie walker , firstly just around the ward , then down to the nearby park. I used to enjoy these, even though I was challenged going uphill back to Arcare. I looked forward to getting outside and to John’s company. December 2024 came and I realised, in spite of staff saying I had done well, that I was in exactly the same condition as I had been the December before. I realised that Arcare is more of a nursing home for the elderly and frail and weren’t really interested in rehab and the client improving oneself. Indeed, their funding from the Government depended on how much care they provided. Hence I was still being classified as needing 2 staff to assist me . Had I left Arcare at this stage, this would probably be right . But where would I go? My children are willing to have me at their homes but they are very busy and don’t have the time needed to care for me as well as work their jobs and look after their children. So, I resolved to improve my capabilities so I could go and stay and they would not have to provide extra care. So, here I am: I sought out my personal physio and contacted Alera and Tai came and visited and assessed that he could help me. We have had three sessions so far and already I am noticing the improvement. He comes weekly and tries out new movement and leaves me exercises to do daily. These are challenging but I have carried them out and, on the whole, I have enjoyed doing them. The staff and other clients frequently comment on how well I am doing and this encourages me to do more. Tai is easy to work with; I am comfortable expressing my dreams and aspirations and he even encourages me to have more. It is important to me that he believes I can reach these capabilities rather than roll the eyes and just humour me, as some of my children have done. You did say I was allowed to ramble on with this comment, didn’t you? I think I have gone on enough. You have got the picture that Tai is very good at his job and that I appreciate him. Many thanks for you sending him to me. I hope this relationship continues for a few months or, at least, until I am playing tennis again!

I saw Tai for my shoulder pain and had a great experience. He is very professional, friendly, explained everything clearly and truly cares about his clients. I noticed real improvement after second session. I also really appreciated that he offered home visits which made the treatment so much more convenient and less stressful. Highly recommend!
