Google MapsWhile I have had quality care from Dr Raj and Dr O, I do find the business frustrating to use, I dont expect to have to reconfirm my appointment by text AND email AND phone conversation, just one of those please... And then when I turn up, I get interrogated to prove that Im me, seriously, do that many people try to impersonate me for the privelidge of paying $100+ to have a script renewed.

Google MapsI contacted Alpha Medical Practice to book an appointment for my daughter to receive a yellow fever vaccine and malaria prophylaxis in preparation for overseas travel. During the booking process, I was clearly informed that the yellow fever vaccine was available and that I could proceed with making an appointment. At the appointment, Dr Hamid Nazifi attended to us. However, when he went to arrange for the nurse to administer the vaccine, I was advised that the vaccine was in fact not available. This directly contradicted the information provided to me when booking. I was then told that the vaccine had been used for another patient and that it needs to be paid for and ordered in advance before administration. This situation was upsetting, as I felt I had been given misleading information and my time was unnecessarily wasted. Dr Hamid then issued an eScript and advised me to try to source the vaccine through a pharmacy, recommending that I speak directly to a pharmacist rather than a pharmacy assistant. When I attended the pharmacy, I was advised that this was not possible, as yellow fever vaccines can only be ordered and administered by authorised medical practices. After leaving the pharmacy, I attempted to contact Alpha Medical Practice to clarify the situation, but my call was not answered. I believe Alpha Medical Practice would benefit from improving internal communication and ensuring that accurate information is provided to patients at the time of booking, particularly for specialised vaccines that require specific ordering and handling procedures.
