Roughly 4 months ago, i had made an enquiry for appointments as my psychologist had left the country. I decided not to go through with this company as my original plan is free due to my circumstances and my psychologist returning some time later. This company then decided to call off a private number over 3 days, to which i did not answer. I then received a "collect parcel" slip from auspost for a letter at the post office the next suburb over. I then had to drive over and PAY for the letter! This lousy letter could have been emailed, messaged, or sent directly AND ON TIME!.. It was a letter from a Rensburp "offering" counselling which is an absolute bargain of $194 upfront. She asked for a response by LAST MONTH, making this letter pointless. Considering complaining to consumer protection for this unethical practice as this potentially wastes vulnerable people's time and their hard earned $2.75!

Google MapsIf there was a ZERO STAR - that is what I would give. My partner was treated with such disrespect ( only just last week )from the ' counsellor ' that was supposed to him , it was disgusting . If you value your sanity and want help , DO NOT GO HERE , DO NOT GET A REFERAL TO GO HERE . No wonder people are afraid about getting help for their mental health issues when you are treated with such disrespect .
My experience with Infocus Counselling at Arche Health has been wonderful. I have a range of mental illnesses (depression, anxiety, adhd, c-ptsd) and feel so welcomed and comfortable. I feel accommodated for my memory problems as I get SMS reminders of my upcoming appointment 2 days before, and a call the day before if I didn't answer the SMS. I honestly look forward to going to my psych appointments even when I'm having a bad depressive episode. Can't recommend them enough.
Keep left unless overtaking. If you want to hog the right lane and brake check other drivers that flash their lights at you, maybe do it in an unbranded vehicle. Alternatively be courteous and move left.

Google MapsIt’s the first time to go for such experience never went to counseling before in my life. The reason I am only giving the place one star for my experience at the reception today my appointment was 12:30PM with Ploy she was amazing counselor, I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment but I struggled to find the entrance I had to call to the reception and explain and she barely guided me by saying I can’t see you at the door, you aren’t at the door which I understand it might not be her job or problem, But when I went inside she seemed to be on the edge, giving a unwelcoming attitude with a straight face not even trying to smile. Normally would be more friendly saying Hi how are you today. But no she was not welcoming at all, She was just into the payment which I understand, and the forum she just passed with no explanation just fill this I felt she is a bit bossy, another younger lady stepped in she was standing at the reception very lovely and very welcoming to explain filling the form and explain that the last page isn’t necessary or must be filled which the first lady didn’t explain at all. My counselor came and told her the forum can be filled inside no need to waste more time as it’s already 12:30 or over that. I can tell the receptionist wasn’t happy with that at all it’s like she care more about the documentation not the person. I didn’t feel welcome from the receptionist at all it’s like she have an attitude she don’t even smile if she don’t like her job it’s alright but she don’t put it on other people who already coming struggling. I don’t know is it because my name, color or background or she is just like that, but people who are going to counseling already suffering they shouldn’t feel like that or be treated in away make them feel like that, and asked if I can just receive my receipt by email she ignored me and she just kept saying you want a copy now which I already explained politely that I needed it by email and there was another younger lady standing there at reception she was very helpful and replied to my question by saying no problem will send it to you by email. while the receptionist was just ignorant and a bit rude. I think she needs more training. I didn’t like her attitude I would love to come back but I am doubting it now with this attitude I would prefer not to have to deal with such a person who don’t makes me feel uncomfortable or unwelcoming in a place where people should be treated In a nicer way.
