Google MapsI was denied help and hung up on while trying to explain why my children and I are at risk of homelessness. The worker I spoke to on the phone told me to go talk to a church before laughing at me and the phone line disconnected. I've never been one to reach out for help but since leaving a violent relationship, I've had no other option. My only option left is to go back to my abuser or take my two kids to a homeless shelter.

Google MapsI've had to use Haven, Home Safe a few times in the past and they were, and still are very helpful for me. Not only when I was homeless before my heart attack, but even now almost two years later, they still help me out with useful and handy information and I respect that.

Google MapsTakes a very long time to get help from Haven. The wait list is very long. Once you do, even then depends on who your case worker is, which depends on the quality of help you get. Some staff are there to assist the clients and help empower them together. Other staff are there to collect a paycheck. There over burden with too many clients apparently.

Google MapsDue to unforeseen financial circumstances, I was told to seek help from Haven Home Safe in Bendigo. I was met by very friendly and helpful receptionists and then had a great conversation with a lady called Naomi , she was so good and helpful . She explained everything so easily for me ( feeling embarrassed by my situation) she was so nice and helpful . She is a blessing to your organisation and deserves much praise .
