Google MapsI like this hospital very much, it’s the most helpful around! Everyone working there is super friendly and useful. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, not crowded. Got seen straight away and went home better and happy.

Google MapsI wish I could give no stars, was down there this morning with my partner to get a simple dressing change and wound unpack/repack. The nurse on duty couldn't get the packing out was ripping at it completely dry. In the end had 3 nurses all in the room saying they weren't 100% sure how to get it out. Caused so much pain that they ended up advising her they'd leave it in and re cover it and to book an appointment with her GP to do it, completely incompetent wouldn't recommend.

Google MapsThe hospital for the most part is a good little country setup. Nurses same. But geez they get some shockingly rude and obnoxious nurses come through there. So frustrating when they do the taking the mickey out of you well within eye and ear shot. The two working the acute area tonight I wouldn’t give a job in a coffee shop cleaning tables. I can see the inept incompetence of these two costing the hospital and someone’s loved one soon enough, absolute disgrace.

Google MapsWent in with severe chest pain, immediately I was sent through and I had a beautiful nurse named Jai. Never have I ever had a nurse as sweet and amazing as her. She got my bloods on the first try after I suggested trying my hand due to me having collapsing and deep veins. She was super supportive and believed that something was wrong when others wanted to dismiss it as indigestion or heart burn due to what I had for lunch. I've had that before, and this pain was nothing like it. After a lot of tears and multiple medication not working to ease and stop the pain, I was given an injection. Finally it took it down to a 3 on the pain scale and I was able to go home. I was super comfortable with Jai and she was able to make me laugh (even though it hurt, it was worth it) and she made me feel comfortable. I give Jai herself 5 stars, but the reason I'm giving 4 is because the other nurses loved to bicker and talk about the patients, when it came to my case they said another girl was in the other day with chest pain after eating the same lunch I had, but it was in a very down putting tone. This made me extremely uncomfortable, and they do it so you can hear them. The biggest thing you're judged for when it comes to chest pain is weight, with Jai that didn't happen, whereas the other nurses assumed it. I got there around 6:30pm or so, and didn't leave until around 10:00pm or so. All in all, I absolutely adore Jai, but the other nurses should have a talking to about what they say.
