Google MapsTerrible place to put anyone if they're a dementia patient . My partner found his father in the short drop carpark having had a fall after going for a wonder (which he's not allowed to do on his own) heavily concussed and bleeding from multiple places from head to toe . The hospital didn't even know he had gone missing or that he'd had a fall until my partner had turned up to visit his dad and went looking for him and mentioned it to the hospital .

Google MapsShellharbour hospital actively deceives patients about admission times so their front desk staff can go home. If you get an admission time of 4.55pm, don't bother turning up then because you will be waiting up to 5 hours to have your surgery. They just want to check you in before knock off. No transparency about what is actually happening, leaving you unable to arrange safe alternatives for travelling home from the hospital. Absolutely pathetic. They were well aware I was travelling with a toddler and my elderly parents, as my husband is deployed. I was not given the courtesy of honesty, otherwise I would have gotten them a hotel, instead of driving home through the bush after midnight.

Google MapsBest hospital, looked after me extremely well on all aspects of my stay for a tkr from pre admission nurse, operating assistant, aneithisists, surgeon, nurses on ward, physiotherapists all did an amazing job. Thankyou. If you have private cover choose here. If lucky enough to be a government patient here then that's fantastic news. Meals are fantastic.

Google MapsVery poor on any information of procedure, and after care from surgery about what to do when at home, no detail instructions given. Nursing staff was like they didn't want any extra responsibilities.

Google MapsMy experience was good, surgery went well. My earbuds were stolen while in the theatre unconscious. They were inside my zipped up backpack. Left the hospital in the evening. Called the receptionist in the morning that said he was going to check, nobody called me back. After 3 months I had to pay for a follow up visit and cost me nearly as my lost earbuds. It’s sad to write this review, hopefully this can help improving the hospital modus operandi.
