Google MapsI've recently been diagnosed with a heap of health conditions, my gp said its in my best interest to see a dietitian and exercise physio, so i agreed to it. Unfortunately with the ndis cuts my work hours have been cut, I struggle to make ends meet with the cost of living and limited working hours. The excerise physio did not believe me and came off as very dismissive. Due to my hours being cut, I cancelled my gym membership, he told me I needed to excerise more, I currently do 10k steps a day plus what I do at work, I am trying my hardest. I advised I only have $6 to my name in private and in front of all the customers in the waiting area, he patted me on the shoulder and said "come you can afford it". I am not wasting $5 on a device when I can wrap the band around the door. I wont be returning. The dietitian advised me to eat more vegetables, I meal prep all my food for the fortnight so I don't have to worry about food during the week. I mentioned due to the injection I'm not actually hungry, I eat toast in the morning, apples for lunch and then whatever I've meal propped for the week for dinner, she advised me of everything I already knew. Telling me to eat more when I physically cannot stomach eating anything is disappointing, I was hoping for her to help with meal prepping.
