Amazing! A unique copper sculpture which doubles as a viewing platform and wonderful place to climb and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The views over the Hudson River are spectacular, and the perspectives down to the center and up to the buildings above make some wonderful photos. it's free but you have to give a ticket which are issued on the side and the tickets are for a certain time slot sometimes as long as an hour or two later. That's not a problem if you just take a walk down The High Line Park and come back.

Saw the Luna Luna art show at The Shed in Dec 2024 - a very spacious & appropriate venue to experience large scale art amusement park installations.

Great experience at the shed. Saw the best of the sphere. Was pretty cool. Free coat/bag check was awesome. Would like to check out a show that's more one vibe like Carl Craig. But the only thing is you just kinda lie there . The seating is like hammock netting and comfy,but it would be cool if this was more of a dancefloor experience . Like I would go out to hear some house music and dance with all this going on above me. Artists hint hint I was able to get a free promo ticket code. Otherwise it's kinda expensive. Make sure you go for free or for an artist you really enjoy hearing.

I was attending the Frieze art fair this past May in New York. It was taking place at the shed. Lovely space. I didn’t take images of the space itself more of the artwork. The last floor is beautiful you can see part of New York and the water.

This is a review for "Viola's Room," a performance currently showing at The Shed. This immersive, audience-participatory show guides you through dark, enclosed spaces, following a single beam of light while listening to a story through headphones. However, the narrative is quite difficult to follow, making it hard to deduce a conclusion. The story itself is not straightforward. The ticket price is on the cheaper side, and the show is short, lasting less than an hour. It feels like experiencing a brief audiobook with a 4D sensibility. Unfortunately, my expectations were too high, which led to a feeling of disappointment. As a show with no live actors, it fell short in its attempt to make you feel the story with your entire body. It's an interesting experience to try once to get a sense of what it's like, but I wouldn't recommend it to others.
