Google MapsAwful venue at least for concerts. Went to see a favorite artist of mine on a night where it was 24 degrees, winter in nyc, and there was no coat or bag check available despite there being signs for it. A staff member told me “we can’t even fit the number of people we have for this show.” On top of the crowd all awkwardly wearing or holding winter parkas, there was a very loud, repeating beeping sound that ran through three of the artists songs and completely ruined an incredibly quiet, intimate song. Felt like having a concert in a museum that was not prepared to host concerts.

Google MapsThe Griffin Theater is an intimate space for catching a show - I’d recommend aiming for seats a few rows back from the front when the proper rake starts for a clear view.

Google MapsThe LUNA LUNA exhibition is an interactive carnival featuring rides and exhibits created over 40 years ago by some of the most famous artists of the time. I really enjoyed seeing Keith Haring’s merry-go-round and Basquiat’s Ferris wheel. Not everything from the original carnival is on display, and you can’t interact with everything the way the artists intended, but they do try to make up for that in other ways. The timeline was especially informative."

Google MapsNice entertainment at the shed. We saw an ark in VR using VR headsets. Interesting concept.
