Google MapsAll the good things about Ploterra remind me of what real service used to be like. Ash and Sally are the two principals at Ploterra Landscape Design and Construction. We asked them to landscape our garden in Sandringham and couldn’t have been happier with the result. Ash makes everything easy. Nothing is a problem to him. He has an open, flexible mindset and worked happily to our brief. He has a lovely design aesthetic, especially with planting and the layout. Our new garden is so lush; full of perfume and unexpected planting combinations that make me smile everyday. Ash is a dedicated professional who's worked very hard from a young age to educate himself; winning a number of scholarships during his educational journey. He has a Masters of Urban Horticulture from Melbourne University and more than 16 yrs of horticulture experience, during which time he worked as a horticultural technician at the Royal Botanical Gardens Victoria and was awarded a part scholarship from the Royal Botanical Gardens. More than credentials however, Ash and Sally are such nice people. They're honest, sincere, and easy to communicate with. For example, during the process, my husband and I second guessed two or three decisions. Ash came to the house to hear our thoughts and walked with us around the site and together we made a reasoned decision. I never felt he was wedded to one way. His focus was on understanding our concern and giving us the best result. A couple of times he was honest and told us, he didn’t think the idea was the way to go, and at other times he thanked me and said, “I’m glad you brought it up so we can change it now. It was good you did that.” I never had the sense Ash was "managing the client” but instead was doing the best by us. He said a number of times, and it was sincere, 'I want you to be happy with the job'. There was enormous good-will from Ash and Sally towards us. Ploterra are destined for growing success because of their service, design, flexibility, and generosity of spirit and respect towards the client. They are an excellent company, and their team (Ross, Paul, Courtney and Sam) are a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis; for their long-standing experience, detail, care and gentle kindness they bring to the project.
