When the technician arrived, my partner quickly noticed that he was not cleaning the unit the way a professional technician should — by properly opening the unit and cleaning the internal dust and components. When questioned, the man admitted that he could not do it because he is not a professional technician. This should have been a major red flag, and we deeply regret not asking him to leave immediately. After he finished the job, I checked the air conditioning unit and saw that the flap was not shutting properly and was left with a large gap. While the air conditioner was running, the flap looked like it had been forced open to nearly a 90-degree angle, making it clear something had gone wrong during this so-called “deep clean.” The most serious issue was his complete lack of care for our home and safety. When he went outside to check the outdoor unit, he left the backyard door wide open. Our dog ran out of the house, and I only realised about 10 minutes later — by then, she was long gone. When I asked if he saw our dog run out, he said no. This situation was incredibly distressing and completely unacceptable. On top of doing a poor-quality job, he left our property in a mess and showed no professionalism or responsibility. While I was panicking and calling for my dog, he stood there doing nothing. This experience was traumatic and avoidable. I do not recommend this service to anyone unless you want to waste your money and risk losing someone you love.
