I cannot thank Shake Counselling enough for the impact they had on my students! All counsellors were able to form really strong relationships with students who have additional learning needs. They were able to tailor their program to be more relatable to the boys and provide them much needed life skills to assist with their personal and emotional development! I saw students in a completely different light and Shake provided a space for students to be calm and really support each other! Could not approve of Shake more and everyone should support their program as it vital!

Great experience with our Scouts at Shake Counselling. The team were able to adapt their program at short notice to our needs, engaged youth members well, the program was fun and impactful, we saw youth who are normal reserved and reluctant to speak be confident and share their opinions and get involved. We were impressed with how the counselling concepts were explained.

My son has really been enjoying his time at Shake Counselling. It’s such a great place for young boys facing challenges in their lives and helping them create positive change. My son is extremely shy and struggles with everyday tasks, especially at school, but he has received so much support since starting here. I can already see his confidence improving. At the beginning, it was hard to get him there as he doesn’t cope well with new places or new people, but once he met Will, he was happy to go back — which isn’t like him at all. That alone speaks volumes. Thank you for making such a meaningful impact on my son’s life. I truly appreciate everything you do.

The team at Shake have been instrumental supporting my son with increasing his emotional awareness in a way that is engaging and fun! He would go to the Shake shed everyday if he could!! Traditional talk therapy would never have been successful, so I am so appreciative for what they do to support our young adolescents which is so valued and so needed. You guys rock and are making such a difference shaping these young men's lives.
