As someone who traveled from the UK to Australia last year, and have a wealth of experience in similar settings. It is clear that Maria and the team have an excellent organisation that provides excellent neuro-affirming programs that empower young people, provide access to thee community, adapt to super powers and provide the resources for young people to flourish. If anyone is considering getting involved with Gentle Sensory, as clientele or employment. Here is a heartfelt recommendation of their services, professionalism and connectivity.

Mel has been working with my 3 year old daughter for a few months and has helped her so much with her social skills, confidence and emotional regulation. Right from the first time we met her, her approach was so kind and caring and she just went at my daughter's pace. My daughter absolutely loves knowing it's a "Mel day" at child care. I have also just been to a PD run by Gentle Sensory, presented by Maria and it was fantastic! Maria is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does, the presentation was engaging and gave practical advice, and I took something from it both as a parent and an early childhood educator. I highly recommend Gentle Sensory!

Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for social groups for their neurodivergent children, my daughter absolutely loves attending her weekly social group and has definitely improved her social skills and self confidence, Chloe who runs the group is absolutely lovely and was able to bring my extremely anxious child out of her shell, which many struggle to do.

Within 3 sessions, Pauline has built such an amazing rapport with my son and has made more progress than he did in the last 6 months with a psychologist. Gentle Sensory is an incredible service. I have been involved in parenting courses and seminars as well as my child participating in holiday programs and ongoing fortnightly supports. I couldn't speak more highly of Maria and the team, who provide practical support that is evidence based and always work to understand the individual and each circumstance. I feel so supported and my child is having amazing growth in understanding his brain and it's uniqueness. Gentle sensory has been a huge blessing to our family, we are so grateful to be linked in with them. Highly recommend!
