Google MapsTender Loving Cuisine. I have had many years of previous experiences in the food industry, I have been a chief and worked in other areas of the food industry. Tender Loving Cuisine I've been researching to try and find a good meal company that delivers to your door. I am using a 1 to 5 star rating from my experience and opinion with these companies, their service, and most importantly, the food. (The food is star rated individually). With Tender Loving Crusine, I will review the meals I have tried so far and update them as I review more. 1. Firstly, aromatic Braised Lamb. This meal, to me, tasted disgusting, and it was hot and spicy with no mention of hot and spicy on the menu. It tasted and looked like beef, not lamb it only got 0.5 stars out of 5star 2. Beef Casseroled in Red Wine, not to my liking, I gave it a 2 star. 3. Corned Silverside- with white sauce. I ordered a couple of these, the Corned Silverside was dry in both, and the white sauce was almost non-existent about a teaspoon full. I tried two and was not impressed. It would be greatly improved if there was more white sauce to keep it moist. Rated 2.5 star. Borderline. Would be better with more sauce. 4. Curried sausages: the sausages them self had no flavour. They tasted poor quallity with no flavour, not even the curry had penetrated them. Maybe if they were diced, it may help penertration. No flavour. Rated 2.25 star. 5. Tasmanian Salmon with Florentine Sauce. Made me vomit. I can't say for sure if it was the salmon, or it was a coincidence that I was very sick within a couple hours of consuming the salmon with Florentene sauce. I got severe stomach cramps, diarrhoea, and vomiting and was not well again for over a week and a trip to the emergency department. The samon was dry. Star rating 0. 6. Beef Goulash Well, what can I say to my surprise this meal was absolutely delicious? The Goulash and the vegetables were excellent Rated 5 Star. 7. Update Only hours later Sausages in Onion gravy. Not two bad. Comes with carrots, mash potato, and peas. Could do with a little more onion gravy. Rated 2.75 star out of 5. I will continue to update this review as I try more, in all fairness, anything 2.5 star or more, I will try again. The meat in these dishes seemed to me as of poor quality, very fatty and grisly. Now, onto the desserts 1. Apple and Rhubarb Crumble I gave this a good rating it was very nice after a couple of finishing touches. Firstly, if you just heat in the microwave, it's not so nice , but if heat slightly in microwave then transfer it to a oven safe dish and bake it in the oven while making some more custard it was delicious. Rated 3.75 star. 2. Apricot fruit pie with custard, this is OK. If there is some room for improvement, I will do some simple experiments with this dish and get back, but for now, I gave it a 2.75 star rating. 3.Bread and Butter Pudding with custard. It wasn't very good. 1 Star. 4. Carrot Cake This was delicious 4 Star. 5. Sticky date with custard Not two bad will try again. I had yet another broken plastic container that I had to pick the plastic out of. Rated 2.5 Star. I will continue to try these meals and update my reviews on Tender Loving Crusine. What I must mention is the quality of brittle plastic containers that these meals come in. Not impressed with the quallity of the brittle plastic containers I believe it could be dangerous to some people if you don't remember to inspect the container and chew your food well watching out for breakage and plastic splinters. I have already picked bits of plastic out of my mouth a couple of times in the small number of meals I have tried. Rated star for plastic frezer container Rated:0 Update 9/1/2025 I just tried the Lamb Casserole. I only gave it a 2 star rating. It completely lacks flavour, and it has a lot of fat and gristle. Updated 12/03/25 3 star. Homestyle Rissoles with gravy was nice but not enough gravy, so only 3 star rating. Lamb Casserole (Lacks tast) very fatty and full of gristle 2 star Max. Roast Lanm with mint jelly. Terrible 1.5 star.
