Google MapsParamedics were great and helpful, upon admission my assessment was undertaken shortly after a heavy chemical sedation (whilst being non-violent/psychotic, just anxious and trying to understand what was happening), I was subsequently detained for 8 days, lost work pay and my pets at home suffered which seemed further harmful and counterproductive to my mental health. The hospital beds were clean and staff were mostly kind and considerate Communication could be better and the doctors and admitting team should take time to comprehend patients history or personal ideology of their circumstance before detaining them Sometimes it seems when you need mental health help urgently, you can’t get it (or have to pay a lot) and when you don’t need help and are trying to get on with your life it’s interfered with or misinterpreted and doesn’t seem 100% patient centred care
