I called Brightside just to get some info and honestly didn’t expect much, but they were super helpful. They took the time to answer all my questions properly and didn’t try to push me into signing up or anything, which was really refreshing. I’ve contacted a few other providers during my search and most of them wouldn’t really help once they realised you were just after information/advice, so this was a nice change. The person I spoke to was friendly, patient, and actually seemed like they cared. Based on that experience alone, I’d definitely consider them and would recommend reaching out if you’re looking for services to help family or yourself.
I actually saw one of Brightside’s support workers out at the park with a participant the other day and it really stuck with me how they were with the person that had a disability. You could just tell they had a good connection, they were chatting, laughing, and the support worker was really engaged, not just standing around on their phone looking like they’d rather be anywhere else but at work, which is usually very common amongst support workers. I ended up having a quick chat with them and mentioned that a friend of mine is also on NDIS too and they were super easy to talk to. It was just nice to see that kind of interaction in real life. Definitely gave me a really good impression of the team, I hope they value this good deed and it helps them continue to do good work at a time when everything is negative about NDIS 😊.

My Brother has recently moved from another provider and obviously it’s always such a stressful and difficult time wondering if you’ve made the right decision. It was absolutely the best decision I could have ever made. Evan & Andrew from the first point of contact have been amazing.my brother has settled in amazingly with the support from them and their team. He is doing so much better than I could have ever expected. His everyday life has improved he’s just happier.
