Google MapsJQ has helped me with my health concerns. I have seen all of the workers. However, my issues are with the head physio Jamail. He is great yes- however, he rushes. He takes on double the patients he can handle, is always late. I’ve waited 20 minutes in the waiting room. Was then sent to a ‘room’ and sat in there for 20 minutes until I’m seen. He rushes between patients, has conversations with staff and customers while trying to massage you. My biggest issue is when I only have a towel on while he is treating me however, he has the curtains open, customers and staff are walking past and are able to see in. The other physiotherapists I’ve seen at JQ take around 10-20 minutes to work on your problems whereas jamail only takes about 5 minutes. Jamail likes to act like it’s a social party with everyone. If im being seen by him, I don’t want 3 other physiotherapists and 5 staff coming in to have a chat to him about their lunch. People are coming in are in pain, uncomfortable, it’s hard enough having to be massaged while in excruciating pain, we don’t need to have someone chatting to their work colleagues mid-way what cake they like. I’ve seen many physiotherapists and chiropractors in the past and I have never seen someone that does this. It’s also uncomfortable and awkward - you talk to your patient if they are there. After seeing another physio now, I have realised that Jamail does rush- It confirmed it for me when I saw him a while back when he put acupuncture needles in (I’ve had it done numerous times) rushing to get to the next patient (mind you he always leaves the rubbish from the needle on you while you are laying there instead of throwing it in the bin) and he put the needle in incorrectly and I was in absolute agony the next day. I saw another physiotherapist about it- and they confirmed it for me when they asked if he did acupuncture. He doesn’t get to know you and your issues first hand too. He makes myself and other patients I had sent here feel as if he isn’t interested in what we are there for. When I first went I was very skeptic because he just completely rushed my consult when I was trying to give him my background with my health issues. Yes my pain has improved- but I really dislike coming here because of all these other reasons that happen at every appointment. Thankfully, at JQ they do have some other great physiotherapists. Jamail is great at pain relief and I would like to come back to see him again however, he needs to work on these on-going issues.
