As a quadriplgia, I require support for all activities of daily living. My team are jacks-of-all-trades i.e. personal care, household duties, cleaning, cooking, errands, sleepovers when required, take me to a vast array of appointments, meetings, social outings, including accompanying me to lunches and dinners with my girlfriends. They also accompany me on trips away, even flying nterstate.

I honestly wish I never signed up with Hunter Valley Support, the lack of care the company provided for me throughout the time i was with them was almost zero. I constantly got emails demanding me to sign things (obviously to get money from my plan) I didnt know what it was and when i would ask what im signing they would demand i call them to find out when they could have simply called me to explain instead of causing me more daily stress. They are nothing but money hungry ndis company. I'm currently going through alot because of this company including grief from loosing a support worker i got extremely close to. Their 24 hr call line is also pointless, I've called multiple times after hours and they were not able to provide emergency support and would say if it's that bad go to hospital. I'm glad I've now separated from them. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Also sometimes I would get text messages from this company asking me to do a shift like I was staff?? When I was a client! I'd reply asking to move my number from this "staff" text and I still ended up getting another one. I just started ignoring these messages.

HVS have been fantastic for my brother he is so full of energy and he loves looking forward to his careers coming very day HVS teams are fantastic right down to the rostering nothing is a trouble to them I truely cannot pick one person who would out do the other A great job by all Keep up the great work I have no regrets at all for choosing HVS they just so caring and nothing is a problem Regards Maree Bendle
