I would like to sincerely thank Liberty Disability Services for their outstanding support. From the very beginning, their team has been incredibly helpful, whether it was assisting with my NDIS planning, organising appointments, or helping me access the right services – including reliable psychology services in Melbourne. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been professional, kind, and genuinely caring. What I appreciate most is that Liberty Disability doesn’t just provide services – they actually listen and treat you like a real person, not just a number. I was a participant with Liberty Disability Services for support coordination and plan management. After a staff member at Liberty admitted that a support coordinator had been over-billing clients, I requested all case notes and billing reasons. After reviewing them, I identified approximately $4,000 in what I believe to be misuse of NDIS funds. Examples include: Billed 2 hours for an automated out-of-office email from my OT saying she was going on leave Billed 2 hours for me making a complaint to my NDIS LAC that then the LAC called them to inform Billed for a handover document that has almost no information in it Billed 4 hours (approximately $500) for signing paperwork that was never actually completed and the company is aware of this. Plan Manager moved funds between categories without my approval. When I raised a complaint, the response misrepresented what happened and sided with their own staff. Even though i was clear as day I have reported my concerns to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. If you have been a participant with Liberty especially if you had a support coordinator in the last 2 years I strongly encourage you to request all your case notes and the reasons behind every billing entry. Other than that the rostering and support workers are fantastic and helpful
