Living My Way

I have been using the Support Coordinator Service from Catherine Watts and then Tegan Wagner from Living My Way for a number of years now. I am very impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and dedication to customers hence I stay with Living My Way for a long time now. They really put their hearts in their job. I highly recommend Living My Way to anyone who may have a need to use any of the services they provide.

unfortunately this organisation lost its way when it comes to providing support workers to people with disabilities. Rosters left unchecked. Clients are left without support. The organisation has become too bureaucratic. The employment services team just does not understand support .

When we first joined up with Living My Way for plan management three years ago, the service was fantastic. We were always able to reach someone and the person who we generally spoke to was knowledgeable - at times they may need to come back to us with more information but the communication was there. We did have some communication issues with a very short term support worker but we didn't use that service for too long. I can say that in the last several months there has been a massive drop off in the communication. There have been some changes in organisation there and the change is noticeable. We had no replies about a question about using our funding and then, when we decided to jump ship to a new plan manager, we had a very difficult time getting any communication again, and, in fact, had to ask the NDIS for help before we could be released. Sad to say, though I thought this was a great company in the beginning, we absolutely cannot recommend them as good communication is basic to any service.

Love that they take care of payroll, insurance and WHS paperwork but enable me to be in control of stuff that matters to me - recruitment, rostering and building and managing my team! Since self managing bills have been timely and accurate. And support is there if and when i need it. Highly recommend as a support coordinator.

They're respectful. They listen and treat me like a person. They manage my funding but I get to hire my own staff. I highly recommend them.
