We have recently moved to the Geelong area. From our very first visit with Maudcare the Management team made us feel very comfortable. We visited a number of Disability Services looking for the right match for our daughter, so pleased we decided on Maudcare. Our daughter settled straight away. She loves her days with Maudcare. The staff are passionate, kind & caring. We as parents have never been treated with so much respect & listened to about our daughter’s needs & interests. Our experience with Maud Care is amazing. The peer mentors have been supporting Jamie for last 6 months and still ongoing with full support. My son, living with ASD has changed to a an exceptional young man, filled with knowledge, kindness and respectfulness, due to the dedicated support from all peer mentors, supporting Jamie. This has become a ritual for Jamie looking forward to see the peer mentors. I have never seen my son so happy. I highly recommend Maud Care to anyone living with disabilities. They are the right people, they go above and beyond, supporting not only Jamie , myself and the whole family. They have become part of our family. Maudcare has been the first support company where I have genuinely felt heard. We have been with other services before, but something about Maudcare has been different from the beginning. They listen to me as the participants mother, they listen to my children, and they actually take the time to understand who they are as individuals.. not just their diagnoses or their support needs. The consistency has meant so much to us. My girls know who is coming, they know what to expect, and most importantly, they have been able to build genuine relationships with the people supporting them. That sense of safety and familiarity is something I don’t take for granted. The care they receive is wholesome and genuine. It doesn’t feel like someone is simply turning up to do a shift. I can see that the people supporting my girls actually care about them, enjoy spending time with them and want to see them happy, comfortable and thriving. As a mum, there is no greater relief than knowing that when you aren’t there, your children are with people you can trust. Maudcare has given us something I had honestly started to wonder if we would ever find, support that feels personal, consistent, compassionate and genuinely centred around my children. My children are kicking goals because of the support that Maudcare provide, none of it would have been possible without them. I am incredibly grateful for the people at Maudcare who have taken the time to know my children, listen to me and support our family without making me feel like I’m asking for too much. Absolutely blessed to have found Maudcare ❤️
