ClickabilityMy experience with MMT Care has been extremely concerning and stressful. My daughter’s housing agreement with MMT Care ended on 4 February, 2026. Some time later, I discovered that five invoices of approximately $15,900 each had been submitted to the NDIS after her agreement had ended, totaling approximately $79,500. According to the NDIS portal, these invoices had been paid before I became aware of the issue. Once I discovered this, I contacted MMT Care on multiple occasions by telephone and email seeking an explanation and requesting that the matter be rectified. I eventually spoke with a member of the accounting department who advised that the invoices had been cancelled. When I later checked the NDIS portal, the invoices did appear to be marked as cancelled, even though it took a few weeks for this to happen. However, I specifically requested written confirmation that the invoices had been reversed and that any and all funds paid by the NDIS had been reimbursed to my daughter’s plan. Despite multiple requests, I have not received written confirmation from MMT Care’s accounting department or management. The operations manager in charge of her accommodation has not returned one phone call or email. As a parent in my 70s advocating for my daughter, I found this process extremely stressful. What concerned me most was not only the billing issue itself, but the difficulty in obtaining clear communication and written confirmation regarding the resolution. I strongly encourage families and plan nominees to regularly review NDIS claims and invoices and to promptly follow up on anything that appears inconsistent with the services being provided. This review reflects my personal experience and the information available to me at the time of writing.
