Google MapsThe recruiter reached out only two hours before the interview, at around 1:00 AM Philippine time. The only instruction provided was to join a meeting link on June 24 at 1:00 PM CST, with no indication of whether it was Central Standard Time or Central Daylight Time. I joined the interview 5–10 minutes early. There was no greeting or communication from the recruiter, and it became apparent that there was confusion due to the lack of clear information provided to applicants. After waiting for several minutes, Billy, their client, finally admitted me into the breakout room, only to tell me that I was late. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I had already sent a follow-up email asking if I could join early, but I never received a response. Based on the information provided, I reasonably assumed the interview was scheduled for 3:00 AM Philippine time. Billy was quite rude and immediately told me that I needed to be early next time, despite the obvious communication issues on their end. I was completely caught off guard by the remark. Having worked in the recruitment industry for the past 10 years, I have never experienced such a poorly managed hiring process. Clear communication and proper scheduling are basic expectations in recruitment, and unfortunately, this experience reflected a serious lack of both. I hope this serves as feedback for the company to improve its processes and for future applicants to be aware of what they may encounter.
