Skillbuilders Therapy Services And Produ

My daughter has been going to skillbuilders for a couple of years for OT and speech as she has development delays and she has made excellent progress. All their therapists are very friendly and dedicated to their jobs and make alot of effort to form trust and a relationship with my little girl. Shes thriving in their superstars program at the moment, and i highly recommend it as I feel it has helped her become Kindy ready and made the transition alot easier for us. It is also a great opportunity for me to meet other mothers who have a child similar to mine.

So relieved to have such a great service available for my son and I to access whenever we need a little extra help. Firstly, the OT assessment he had was so thorough and well worth having done. He initially had a kindergarten screening assessment that just skimmed the surface and these guys took a more in depth look. It was suggested we commence some fine motor work and food therapy and later have some speech therapy for a lisp with their speech therapist. Today I officially declared my son a Superthinker Superhero after completing some awesome Occupational Therapy Sessions with them over the past few weeks. He got to do some fantastic exercises and activities and they gave Mummy some cool tips and tricks on how to tackle some selective eating and stinky thinking. The growth mindset they helped him tap into will help him to get back to eating a wider range of foods again and give him the courage to try new foods. After the OT taught him about the superthinking thoughts in todays session he managed to climb higher on the rope webs and gained confidence to try some monkey bar jump offs on his own in their therapy gym. I couldn’t resist purchasing the superhero sensory chew necklace from their therapy shop to celebrate his achievement gained in therapy. He loves it already and I can see it is already helping him to calm and self regulate. Don’t hesitate to give it a try, it’s definitely worth it.

Very grateful for this facility. I wanted to view items before purchasing. Nice to be able to actually walk in and see a variety of good quality products. Easy access and parking just outside the door, very fair prices too! Friendly helpful staff on entry.
