I saw Alexandra McClellend for two issues; IBS and weight gain. Alex made me feel human, she realises that life happens and helped me to figure out what the best pathway was considering these factors. I follow a high fibre diet, and it has worked wonders with my IBS. I’ve also put on and maintained weight following her guidance. I highly recommend her to everyone I know, she is so lovely and down to earth and listens to your needs, which is exactly what you want!

I have been seeing Alexandra for a couple of years where she has been guiding me through managing IBS and high cholesterol. From where I started to my heath position now, I have come to a point where my cholesterol has lowered and reached a level I do not need medication and my IBS is 100% under control. I feel unbelievably strong and my energy is the best it has been in a very long time. I couldn’t have done it on my own, it is all credit to Alexandra’s indepth knowledge as well as her positive and very clear approach, I found all the information she gave me so easy to follow and not overwhelming. I was very lucky to be recommended Alex McLelland when I was in a bad stage with my ED, she provided great support, keeping in touch with my other doctors to ensure I was being monitored for the best chance at recovery. The tough love approach to the ED was exactly what I needed to fight it. She helped me to realise the impact it was having on my body and learn strategies for long-term better health and management. You know Alex really cares and wants to see you having a better relationship to food. I am eternally grateful for how far I’ve come from with her support, it was a blessing she came onto my path when she did.

The endocrinologists are great but they are really being let down by their referrals to Alex McClelland. Ask for someone else.
