Loved our first speech appointment with Jamie! My daughter left using her word ‘up’ in context four times! I know this is a very basic word but this is a massive achievement for my daughter. We are looking forward to our next appointment. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

They are fantastic with engaging with my 5 year old child with adhd/sensory behaviours. As a parent i can relax and not have to manage his behaviour, and as i am not managing my child he is very relaxed and engaged in the sessions. All round lovely people. 100% recommend

I have been completely blown away by the incredible team at A Growing Understanding. I knew from my first phone conversation with Jordan that I was going to love this place. She had the most warm and bubbly personality that was evident even through the phone. Lauren has gone above and beyond our wildest expectations, taking it upon herself to liaise with the speech team at John Hunter Hospital, which resulted in my son being accepted for surgery that we have waited a long time for. She did this in her own time and communicated with us at every step of the way. She has the patience of a saint with our very active 4 year old boy and she adapts activities to keep him entertained - which is a huge feat in itself! Lauren is also highly knowledgeable in other allied health services within the community and has been a huge help recommending some amazing OT's. My son is a new NDIS participant and Lauren was able to provide us with invaluable information and help us navigate through the system. I cannot speak highly enough of the team at A Growing Understanding and sing their praise to whoever will listen.
