Laura saw my father throughout his battle with MND and was so caring and helpful through the entire journey. When he was no longer able to eat and drink the things he liked, she found creative ways for him to still enjoy all his favourite flavours safely while he was in comfort care. We had no idea before this experience how much speech pathologists do and we are so grateful for the care dad received to make him more comfortable in his final months ♥️

We have been working with Laura and her team for about 4 years, and I just can't speak highly enough about their professionalism, genuine care for their clients, and excellent communication and collaboration with family and caregivers. My husband was diagnosed in 2023 with a degenerative brain disorder and has been supported at Brain Matters, by the most incredible support team! Speech Pathology with Laura and Leila has ensured that Todd’s declining speech and ability to swallow has been maintained. Psychology with Tahlia has enabled us as a family to develop life changing skills to deal with the enormity and emotional changes that are occurring with having a degenerative brain disorder. Ellen and Matt’s expertise with dietetics has helped ensure that Todd’s diet is healthy and safe to avoid choking. We are certain that without the expertise, care and support of everyone at Brain Matters and the gentle and kindness from Tanya at Head of House, and the important part of the Brain Matters family, Billy the Therapy dog (Super Star)🐶, Todd’s and our family’s life would be very different right now. We can’t thank the team enough for being our life-line❤️

Located on Semaphore Road, Brain Matters have a beautifully renovated smart building with ample parking behind. Laura and her team provide Speech Therapy and Psychology. My experince of the business has been entirely positive with both excellent clinical care and well managed administrative services. The star of the show, although sadly neglected on the website, is Billie. This blond is always happy to see you!
