Very disappointing. When I made my appointment I was not told that if I had a pension card there would be no charge in lieu of $200. My card was in the post from Centrelink and I confirmed this to them but I still had to pay. If I had been told this up front I would have delayed my appointment by a week. A subsequent request to the manager was also unsuccessful. The audiologist I saw just ran through a process of some questions then undertook the hearing test via her computer programs then recommended a couple of devices. No real skill required or effort to properly understand my hearing condition and explain to me why the devices recommended would be the best. I think I could do her job with a couple of hours of software training based on this experience. Finally, I requested copies of the report and audiogram, and details of the recommended devices be emailed to me. Over a week later and still not received. I would not recommend this audiology practice at all. Just feel ripped off. And yes. All of this has been conveyed to the manager.
