Actually i was unhappy that peter took my money that was a deposit for another trip $1105 that he refused to give back due to not be able to claim the full cost from ndis . I also had alot of trauma because of the thing i was made to do which is apart of my PDA Disability Autism.

Scott had a wonderful holiday with one on one support. He felt like he had control over his holiday and could decide where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do. Yvonne was very patient with him and he talked non stop when he came home, even telling us about the meals he had while he was away. He is looking forward to doing it again next year.

My son was initially attracted to this company because of the variety of experiences he could have. It appeared to be a really great company. Problems arose when a 1:1 ndis funded (plus out of pocket expenses), supported holiday became a group trip where he wasn't even given a choice of where he could eat and supports were not 1:1 bur as a group. This trip was funded out of my sons plan as 1:1 not as a group which meant that others paid less than my son did and the owner got more money for over charging. My son went on to arrange a 1:1 trip and went on it with the owner. This trip left my son with alot of trauma and 15 months later, it is still affecting him. He has sever autistic pathological demand avoidance and was coerced to perform activities he is avoidant of. He doesn't cook, causes huge anxieties at home if it is an expectation and enforced, so it is much better for my sons mental health and a peaceful home to not go there. Well the support worker made him, he wouldn't have eaten if he didn't help to cook it according to what my son said and he was told to do it for 2 weeks of a camping trip in the outback whichnwas more like "boot camp". He made him cook, set up his own tent and pack it up for 14 days with no help. There were also inappropriate comments he made on the trip.. (although he said, she said; but I belive my son when he tells me something.. .) and insinuations about his weight according to my son..not very appropriate for a support worker and owner of what appeared to be a professional disability support service. After watching clubmate travel videos, I have observed him make inappropriate comments toward other clients and even displayed a clients person information in a video where we could see where she lived. The out of pocket expenses are over priced and doesn't clearly and transparently display on invoices what these charges are for. On a positive note, my son did experience 2 amazing trips with another support worker from Clubmate travel as a 1:1 trip and these were very positive experiences. She respected his disability, provided choice and control and really connected with him. She went the extra mile to make sure his needs were met where he always felt safe and comfortable and never forced him to do what he didn't want to do.
