Google MapsMy son has been receiving support from Eminence Care for a long time now, and we have been extremely happy with the support and care he has received. He is genuinely happy with his support workers and feels that Eminence Care listens to him, respects his choices and takes the time to understand what is important to him. This has made a real difference to his overall happiness, confidence and quality of life. We have particularly appreciated the person-centred approach taken by Eminence Care. The support is tailored to my son as an individual, taking into consideration his preferences, interests, goals, communication and what is important to him. He is encouraged to have choice and control over his daily life and the activities he participates in, rather than simply having things decided for him. During his time with Eminence Care, he has had the opportunity to participate in lots of exciting activities and experiences with his support workers. The staff have encouraged him to try new things, get out into the community and enjoy activities that he is interested in. They take the time to understand what he enjoys and support him to make his own choices. Most importantly, he has built really great and meaningful relationships with his support workers. He feels comfortable with them, enjoys spending time with them and has developed strong relationships based on trust, respect and understanding. It is clear that the staff take the time to get to know him as a person and understand what makes him happy and what is important to him. As his family, it is really reassuring to see him happy, supported and enjoying his life. We are very grateful to Eminence Care and their staff for the positive impact they have had on him and for the genuine, person-centred care and support they continue to provide. We feel that Eminence Care genuinely sees my son as a person first, supports his individual needs and choices, and helps him to live a life that is meaningful to him.
