I am not happy with this provider. They are not reliable. Your behaviour support, Alexis was supposed to visit my son's school to watch his behaviour and help him. She turned up one session and didn't turn up the other session without notice. Also, After session, They didn't give me any feedback and didn't let me further appointmet. You didn't turn up twice without any notices at school as an appointment. I am his mum who loves and cares about him the most I do listen to anyone who knows my son disabilities and cares about him. At first, You didn't commuciate with me at all and didn't turn up an appintiment twice and did't give me any feedback after his session. I worked as an tutuor for 8 years back to South Korea. At time time, I was a single and did't know what parents know. I have an Autistic son who is heavily mental and language disorder. I just want to let you know that honesty is put on first and should turn up as an appointamet . Then, I can see how improvement his disablies are. I don't support your support. The other parents who have disabable kids understand me.

My 3 year old son had 3 sessions with Supneet, 2 at home and 1 at kinder. My observation of the 2 home sessions had me confused and concerned about the service and what it was providing to my child. Both sessions included significant time spent watching videos, first on the therapist's phone and next on a laptop. After 2 sessions I had not received any feedback (which I feel is strange considering the 2nd one I was not present for), so I asked for feedback before the start of the last session and the only area of "concern" was sharing, so this was what the session would be focused on. Majority of that session was spent having my son watching a long video and looking for spelling games on a laptop. The video was a story about sharing that was clearly far too complex for his age. The dialogue and concepts were developmentally inappropriate for the comprehension of a 3 year old. When the video ended my son was asked to tell her what he learnt (as expected he had no response, he has a significant speech delay) and she proceeded to tell him, and I quote "share with your friends and play with them, otherwise a bad monkey will come and take all your toys. Do you want that?" This was also repeated to him at the end of the session, and was essentially the only way sharing was touched on. This "do what you're told or else" approach to guiding young children is inappropriate and dismissive of the individual child's experience and is intimidating and outdated. Although Supneet seemed pleasant and my son enjoyed her company, I don't believe there was much effort to engage and adapt to him. The minimal games and activities seemed very one size fits all. My son has a short attention span and is high energy. At one point he started pretending to be a T-Rex and slightly knocked into her knee and she called him a "naughty dinosaur". Although it was lighthearted, this use of language is appropriate. It also seemed as though there was not much preparation before the sessions as Supneet seemed to need time to think of activities to do. She even asked my son to "give her 5 minutes" while she found a game for him on her laptop. I am not satisfied with the level of professionalism provided and will not be utilising any further services from Helping Hands.

Supneet is caring and gentle. She provides excellent personal care and communicates well. Her calm and respectful approach makes a big difference in the client’s comfort and wellbeing.

My son has been receiving behaviour therapy at Helping Hands for over a year, and I couldn't be happier with the progress he's made in such a short time. Thanks to the therapy, he has come a long way. The therapist is incredibly professional, informative, caring, and always offers helpful suggestions for continuing improvement at home. Additionally, Helping Hands has been very responsive to any inquiries I've had, which has made the experience even better.

I am disappointed with the agency as they have not informed me about initial prelim session ( to discuss what’s required and which should be non billable )should be home visit when I had placed a referral for PBS and expected a free prelim discussion call to discuss about referral and what we expect from PBS. However when I have tried to cancel the appointment, admin mobile phone number was not reachable which is really strange. I have emailed them about cancellation of my referral as it’s not professional at all.
