Being 6'9" tall is a challenge in a gym situation as most machines are not designed to accommodate your needs. The excellent staff at Kinetix Health however, have actively worked and improvised around my limitations to enable both similar, and most importantly, safe equipment and training exercises to meet my needs in recovery from foot and ankle tendon surgery. With a deep vein thrombosis (dvt, aka blood clot) resulting from post surgery complications and stretching a whopping 370 millimetres down my leg, my needs have been challenging. But at every step of the journey, both with physiotherapy by Wesley Henrisson, and my current exercise physiotherapy with Jacob Abela, patience and open communication has been paramount from all staff, to ensure a steady and positive recovery and rebuilding of strength. Kinetix Health has a healthy student placement program where the students (such as Anna and Joshua) assist in exercise management of clients whilst deferring to the expertise and experience of the qualified professionals in the gym. My experience has been positive in every way and concerns are always addressed with open-mindedness and a will to find answers as needed when working to address some of the more unique needs in my recovery. As a Physiotherapy and exercise Physiotherapy gym, I cannot recommend Kinetix Health Group enough. P.S.
