NDNS is doing remarkable work in nature conservation by actively educating people, conducting plantation drives, and working closely with government authorities and the judiciary to ensure that gross violations of nature do not occur. The founder, Verhaen Khanna, is deeply passionate, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to the cause. He conducts nature walks that are a must for anyone who wants to truly understand Delhi’s environmental ecosystem. I have participated in several walks with him across the city’s forests, including a truly memorable firefly walk.
