I saw Stef (EP) for over six months at both QSMC locations. I've never had a more positive experience with any health care provider. Her clincal expertise is outstanding, and her manner is warm, supportive and encouraging. I have now moved and have discovered while looking for a new EP, how difficult it is to find a practitioner who is knowledgeable about women's health, chronic pain and hypermobility, who can also coach aggressively for strength and conditioning. Stef helped me improve areas of my fitness that other providers have been unable to address for years. Tammy was my physio at QSMC and though we had more limited contact, I would also recommend her. Recovering from injuries or managing chronic issues can be emotionally overwhelming, and not all sports-focused EPs and physios acknowledge this. Stef and Tammy excelled in this area, without compromising my desire to be pushed physically.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Travis Masters for physiotherapy at Queensland Sports Medicine Centre (QSMC), and my experience has been truly outstanding from start to finish. As someone who’s been managing a combination of long-term musculoskeletal issues, including arthritis in my T12, DISH (Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis), and shoulder, neck pain and plantar fasciitis. I’ve worked with several professionals in the past, but none have stood out as much as Travis and my other physiotherapist George Campbell at Active care, Capalaba. From the moment I walked in for my first consultation, I could immediately tell that Travis is not only incredibly skilled in his field, but also genuinely invested in the well-being of his patients. He took the time to thoroughly understand my health history and listen to my concerns, which gave me confidence that he was approaching my treatment in a way that was tailored specifically to my needs. What really stood out to me is how much Travis cares about my progress and happiness. Throughout each session, he’s been consistently focused on making sure I feel comfortable and that my pain is managed effectively. One of the things I truly appreciate is that Travis genuinely wants to see me happy and achieving the best results possible. He explained everything in detail, from the reasoning behind each treatment technique to how I could maintain my progress at home. His explanations were clear, making sure I was always informed and involved in my recovery process. But what truly sets Travis apart is the level of support he provides outside of the clinic as well. On multiple occasions, Travis has gone above and beyond to make sure I felt supported, even offering his work email address so I could reach out with any questions or concerns before my next appointment. This level of accessibility and willingness to help is rare and something that I have truly valued, especially when I’ve had doubts or needed clarification on certain exercises or treatments. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I have direct access to his expertise whenever I need it. The results I’ve seen from working with Travis have been amazing. Since starting treatment, I’ve noticed significant improvements in both my flexibility and pain levels, particularly in my neck and shoulders. Travis has introduced me to a variety of techniques, including hands-on therapy and personalized exercises, that have helped me feel more mobile and less restricted in my daily life. His approach is both effective and holistic, focusing not just on short-term relief but on long-term improvements that will help me manage my condition in the future. On top of Travis’s excellent care, the entire team at QSMC is fantastic. From the friendly and professional front desk staff to the welcoming atmosphere of the clinic, every visit is a positive experience. The clinic itself is modern, clean, and equipped with everything needed for effective treatment, making it a great place to receive care. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Travis Masters enough. His expertise, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure his patients are happy and well-informed make him stand out as one of the best physiotherapists I’ve had the pleasure of working with. If you’re looking for someone who is genuinely committed to your well-being and long-term success, Travis is the physiotherapist you need. Thank you, Travis, for all your support, your dedication, and for always making sure I’m taken care of!

Google MapsMy recent appointment with Erin Smyth at QSMC exceeded all expectations. Erin is warm, attentive and highly skilled. Her clinical insight is exceptional, she asked specific and thoughtful questions I hadn’t even considered, all of which proved relevant to my treatment. I felt truly understood and cared for. I walked in uncomfortable and misaligned, and walked out feeling both physically better and more connected with my body. She also provided practical guidance around movement and long term care which I found invaluable. Erin is an outstanding physiotherapist and I’m grateful to have found her.

Google MapsI had terrible sciatic pain (including my toes going numb) after sustaining a bad back injury and docs advised surgery was my only option. I had never done acupuncture before but was recommended through a friend to go see Owen at QSMC and after just 6 sessions my pain was no longer and I regained all sensation!!! He has a wealth of knowledge, is very gentle and exudes warmth to all his clients. I highly recommend his practice, I’m getting all my family and friends with physical ailments onto him too. Thankyou OWEN, you’re a real miracle worker and I’m just so grateful to be able to get back to doing the things I love 🙏🏾
