My father landed in ICU following Christmas 2019. Both my mother and father had always been the primary carers of my brother. With the sudden change, we all struggled to juggle the care of my brother, as well as being their for my father. We had never accessed respite before but we needed help. Respite Services Australia not only took my brother in during a busy holiday season, but also gave us the best first experience with respite. The level of compassion, understanding and care they provided to my brother, and our family, was second to none. It felt like family caring for family and helped eased some of the worry and stress on our family, as we moved onto funeral planning for my father after he passed. Since then we have continued accessing services with Respite Services Australia, and now my mother and family still feel supported in caring for my brother, who loves going on "holiday" to "respite house". I could not fault them and would recommend them every time.

The team at RSA went above and beyond to ensure the stay at their beautiful respite home was a positive experience. They went out of their way to make the place feel like home and were also very supportive of the entire external care team to work together to achieve the most positive outcome possible for the client.

Respite Services Australia was an absolute lifesaver in a crisis. Desperate for emergency respite for my sister (while both parents were critically ill) Jess, Paul and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating and supportive of my entire family. They made our very first experience with respite a seamless process and the care for my sister has been compassionate, intuitive and intelligent. I highly endorse this excellent facility with contemporary resources and look forward to a continued relationship with them as our family transition into a new phase of our life. Eternally grateful.
