Google MapsI am writing this as a very concerned elderly client and family member. A representative from Simply Helping Melbourne came to my home and made distressing statements about Ann, the former Simply Helping ACT and Queanbeyan franchisee, and asked me to sign forms to change my services. As an elderly and vulnerable person, this caused me significant stress and confusion. My Home Care Package is with Trilogy Care, who is my provider, and my main concern is my care and wellbeing. I should not have been drawn into an internal dispute between organisations. Thankfully, my son contacted Ann directly, and she took the time to speak with us and reassure us that under aged care we have choice and control, and if we are happy with our current provider, Trilogy Care, we do not need to move. It is disgraceful that vulnerable older people are being approached in their homes and exposed to what appears to be false and damaging claims. Travelling from Melbourne to visit elderly clients for this purpose is, in my opinion, completely inappropriate and deeply concerning. It is deeply upsetting that vulnerable older people are being approached in their homes and made to feel stressed or pressured about their care arrangements. No elderly person should be made to feel frightened or confused about the support they are receiving.

Google MapsMy highly unprofessional 'cleaner?' arrived with no equipment and no idea what she was there for. It took her half an hour to get garbage bags from across the road. She continued giving my housemate, the owner, dirty looks which he was not happy about. He was an abusiv, angry man so I cancelled the next two appointments in concern for her safety. I'm being charged 200 " For this. I'm recovering from surgery, can't work and I Am homeless. Explaining this to them got me a 'yeah tough break. Pay us'. Asides from not actually knowing what this company actually doing, they don't support DV victims. Not worth it.

Google MapsI would strongly encourage anyone considering joining this franchise to do their research and speak with both current and former franchisees before making any decisions. The level of support and professionalism has been extremely disappointing. Concerns and simple questions are often not handled appropriately, and when issues are raised, the response can feel reactive rather than supportive. There appears to be a pattern of poor communication, unprofessional conduct, and ongoing legal disputes, which is very concerning for a business operating in the care sector. A franchise should be built on guidance, collaboration, and mutual respect — unfortunately, this has not been the experience many have described. Proceed with caution and make sure you fully understand what support is actually provided before committing.
