St Jude's Disability Services/Assign Ser

I couldn't get by without the support I get with St Jude's. It's life changing and I feel ok to have bad days amongst the good. I'm learning to love myself more and know that there is always someone to turn to at St Jude's. I hope that this service will not only remain, but continue to grow in the southwest of WA.

My adult son has been a client of St Jude's for the last 6 months. St Jude's Health Care's flexible working approach, has allowed Luke Hazelwood, who has worked as my son's Positive Behavioral Support Person, for the last 5 years, to continue in this crucial role. This has seen my son's mental health, debilitating social anxiety and panic attacks, (which had previously left him in hospital) go from absolute hopelessness, to now continuing in a life of recovery, emotional stability and Hope. As a Mother liaising on his behalf, I have found St Jude's, as a Provider, absolutely invaluable to our lives, and the lives of our family as a whole. Thanks to St Jude's and the ongoing work with Luke Hazelwood, my son at the age of 29, is finally learning how to drive, and is looking forward to eventually being able to have the life skills to live independently, and connecting with community, while still continuing with the supports he needs.

WOW WOW just WOW!!!!!!!! Luke Hazelwood the specialist behavioural therapist is absolutely amazing!!!! Without his constant help n support given to my son - my son would NOT be in the place he is now 🥰 Luke’s on going encouragement for my family has and continues to strengthen our family unit. I would hate to think of where we would be without his support. If only we could clone Luke. Luke has helped throughout the home, school and accessing the community. We look forward to all the ongoing gains for my son to make and to be the “happy” family we should be. Thanks Luke🥰 Simona - speech therapist is amazing, caring and supportive, encouraging my son to try his best and gain the confidence he needed for school. Scarlett - ot who has only been on our team for a short time has shown dedication to helping us with ndis reports and getting to help within the home and school. The team at St. Judes is first class and I look forward to expanding our team to also cover the aged care package as well as ndis. Hopefully getting the on going supports to be the amazing family that we can be!

Luke has worked with Matthew over the last few years. It has been a very positive experience. Supporting this young man though dark days, his high school, learning about himself, gaining confidence. He now has strategies and the courage to apply for university.

Highly recommended therapists. We have experience with Luke Hazelwood and Simona Pintaudi both of whom have been fantastic. We have seen a major change in our daughter and are very happy to recommend this team to anyone. The work that they do cannot be described in mere words. A life changing experience for us. They played a vital role in language development and processing behavioural changes.
