I am the carer of two clients of Upside Care. One has Parkinson’s Disease and his mobility and strength has improved markedly. They receive bi weekly physiotherapy from Hans and Cathy for almost a year. It is a combination of home visits and attending the well set up gym facilities at North Sydney. Their knowledge and enthusiasm is impressive and is no doubt the reason my clients look forward to each session despite it being seen as hard work and exercise. They are a great team. I highly recommend Hans at Upside Care if you're looking for a physio who really takes the time to understand your injury and your sport. I recently had some post tournament sessions after experiencing some pain on court. He's very procedural in his approach — carefully working through the diagnosis step-by-step to figure out the root cause, not just treating symptoms. Hans explains everything clearly and in a really approachable way. You always feel heard and understood when you're speaking with him, and he takes the time to make sure you fully understand what's going on. As someone who plays a lot of pickleball, I really appreciate how he connects his diagnosis back to the movements and demands of the sport. It makes a huge difference when the advice and rehab plans are directly tied to the way you actually move on the court. If you want someone who’s knowledgeable, thorough, and relatable, Hans is a great choice.
