Parents should carefully consider this service before enrolling. The director advertised that a qualified counsellor would run the group therapy, but the sessions were actually delivered by support workers — yet we were still charged full therapy rates. This does not follow NDIS Practice Standards, which require providers to be transparent about who delivers the service and to charge according to the correct support category and qualification level. They also allowed my son to use an iPad during group therapy and called it “turn-taking,” which I strongly disagree with and was never informed about. This lack of communication and unclear therapeutic approach does not meet NDIS expectations around informed consent, honest communication, and evidence-based practice. Overall, I found the service misleading and not aligned with NDIS quality and safety standards.
