Google MapsI have spent a fair amount of money at the store until a recent pricing practice encounter. This has left me wonder. Safe to say, I won’t be returning to this store. And in this competitive business climate, customer service is a key measure for business loyalty and this store has failed me on that front. I picked up an ecoliving wooden dish brush. The sticker price was $17.99. At cashier, it was scanned $34.99. I didn’t even notice the difference till I checked my receipt. I brought it up to the staff. The staff (supposedly a manager) quietly and quickly refunded it the whole amount! I stood surprised. So I nicely asked about Scanning Code of Practice and asked they honored it. The staff then replied they did not do it here in Ontario (which I know it is simply incorrect), hence at the store. She then referenced the owner of the shop not allow/ honor this pricing practice in the store! In the end, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It wasn’t about the discount but how they responded to it.
