I was referred to Ace Health and Performance by my GP with a Chronic Disease Management plan (lower back pain). I have been seeing Louise and I cannot speak highly enough about her service. She makes me feel comfortable and her knowledge is so impressive. After only a few sessions I am able to take part in activities I would otherwise avoid and I have surprised myself with how quickly my back has felt better after her intervention with exercise. I highly recommend Louise, particularly if you have little to no exercise experience like me.

I started working with Alex in February this year to help me recover from a fall. I asked Alex to help me get my strength, balance, mobility and independence back. He was given the task to get me moving while making exercise fun cause once it gets boring who wants to do it. I started with a weekly session and built it up to 3 a week. Most weeks it’s been 2 gym sessions and a pool session. We have even done our session outdoors in the park. I have found him to be totally flexible with changing the program each week so it’s never boring while working me to my capable limits to get the best out of me. It has been an amazing year with lots of progress being made I now walk using my cane and walking unaided for short distances with rarely having to use my frame. I have gotten my strength back and am doing things now that I didn’t think I would be at the beginning of the year. My wellness journey is still a work in progress which I look forward to completing with Alex at my side. I have also just spent a couple of weeks doing sessions with Louise as Alex was not available and found her work ethics and methods to be the same as his. I happily recommend either of them to anybody looking to improve their quality of life and living it to the fullest
