What a horrible place. Starts from a rude impolite aggressive person on receptionist. To haveing no one actually trained in aged care and leaving families with no money in there AC account and never having staff to support workers that we are lucky if they turn up and if they do they don't understand or speak English to not turning up at all and a call to see where they are we just get sorry. Beware do not use this place unless you want your money stolen. In the last 12 months we have had 13 different case managers because they don't last past a month and a lady who was nice and left told us how horrible it is to work for. BEWARE

I’ve never come across such a dedicated group of carers! ADEC definitely have their clients well-being at the top of their list and the support I have witnessed is second to none. Thank you team

All talk and no action is probably the most accurate way to describe ADEC. My so called advocate doesn’t follow through on what he undertakes to do, he kept me waiting 40 minutes and snapped at me too after arriving 49 minutes late. His manager is just as bad and defends his poor behaviour. They are a NDIS registered provider but they don’t comply with their reporting requirements to notify and report serious incidents of disability abuse and neglect. I’m not sure why the Federal Government is wasting time and tax payers money on this useless, ineffective organisation. Please avoid.

I have been with ADEC for 7 months for my son. During this time, my assigned Plan Manager has not contacted me once for any of our month updates or follow-ups. I have had to reach out myself for any information as to budget statements and activities. It is clear that this person is doing less than the bare minimum and the money that I have been paying ADEC this entire time has been going towards who knows what. My attempts to contact ADEC with this issue have been met with cold responses. Overall, ADEC has been absolutely no help to me and my family. I expected to be shown to resources, programs, or activities that would be related to my son's situation, but in the 7 months, I have seen nothing at all. Incredibly disappointing and not worth the funding. Do not come to ADEC for help.
