Rudest customer service I have encountered in a long time - just stepped in to ask a question at the desk a minute before closing .. elderly woman (short grey hair) scowled and reiterated that it was 5:30 and the store is now closed. Couldn’t even tell me if the sale ending today extended to online trading - she just replied “I don’t know, I don’t shop online”. The 5 other staff standing around waiting to leave right on 5:29pm were equally as dismissive. After shopping here for many years, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same if you want to be treated with nice staff!

Joyce and George are the two store staff members who did me a massive favour. I was under the impression that I was using an unsuitable bed base for my Tempur mattress, which caused the sagging at the centre. So, I walked into the store looking for a new bed base. During a chat with George, the salesperson, I mentioned this concern to him, and he referred me to Joyce, the manager. Joyce came over and asked me a few questions about my ensemble bed base. After learning more about it, she explained that there shouldn’t be any problem with the base unless it’s broken. She also suggested contacting the seller if the mattress sag exceeds 2 cm. I can’t thank these two enough for taking the time to ask questions and help me figure out what the actual issue was. People like them are truly needed in our society. I highly recommend this store and these two people in particular should you require solutions pertaining to bed base or mattress.

We received atrocious service from the manager at Domayne, Anna. After viewing our table in store and getting a quote from Paul, we clearly explained that our apartment has four flights of stairs and that we would need a 4-man delivery. We placed the order online that night so we could secure the current gift card offer, but online there was only an option to pay for standard delivery. Paul called the next day, and during that conversation we again discussed the need for a 4-man delivery and again made it clear that there were stairs. When the delivery arrived, the drivers refused to carry the table up the stairs. They also did not appear physically capable of doing so. In the end, they left the table in our apartment car spot. We paid $356 on top of the $99 standard delivery fee for a 4-man service, yet four people effectively showed up and did nothing. When we called Domayne and spoke to the manager, Anna, she offered no support, care, or practical assistance. She refused to approve a refund for a service we did not receive. She was rude, spoke over me, and made no effort to rectify the issue. This was extremely disappointing customer service from both the delivery team and store management.

We had the pleasure of dealing with a wonderful team member (Joyce), that provided us with the information and advice that we needed for our purchase!! We can only say that we not only felt lucky with the advice we received from Joyce ...... but her recommended mattress has spoiled us at home now for a week !! Honest advice & excellent knowledge! The policy on Domayne website it's states price match, visit the fortitude valley store said they don't have the price match. I just asking, the staff was really rude!!
