Kindship Plan Management

The NDIS webinars that Kindship have put on for parents and carers have been so insightful. I have learnt so much about how NDIA/NDIS works and how it’s best to use my son’s plan to help him thrive. I will be attending every single one I can so I can keep learning and keep up to date with all the changes that are happening. Thank you ladies for putting these on for us parents and making things clearer for us!

I was initially very grateful to Kindship because they seemed to understand my situation and were supportive at the start. Unfortunately, over the past few months it became extremely difficult to access my own approved NDIS funding. I have been asked for additional approvals when the funding was already in my plan, and faced repeated, unnecessary questions that felt like attempts to find loopholes to avoid processing my requests. The way it was handled left me feeling that Kindship was working against me rather than with me. Instead of guiding participants on how the NDIS works and helping us use our approved funding, I felt my own words were used against the guidelines, creating unnecessary obstacles and stress Plan managers should work alongside participants to help them achieve their NDIS goals, not create more barriers.I have now moved to another plan manager. I hope Kindship takes this feedback on board to improve the way they support participants.

Such a relief to have real people with lived experience to help navigate the NDIS. Their workshops have been helpful and there is always someone available to help if I need it.

Kindship has made navigating my daughters NDIS plan easier. I enjoy that there have been real people to explain and discuss options with me every step of the way.

The Kindship Connect Facebook group has been a great community resource to come together with families going through similar challenges and struggles, it's always been full of helpful advice and a gentle space to share.
