Google MapsI am writing to raise serious concerns about the standard of care and conduct provided by My Horizon in relation to my sister, who is currently under their support. Our experience with this organisation has been deeply distressing and unacceptable on every level. Since day one, we have encountered the following issues: Lack of professionalism and empathy from staff and management. Communication is poor, concerns are dismissed, and there is no genuine care or compassion shown toward my sister or our family. No structured support or planning. There is no clear strategy in place for my sister's care. The provider refuses to involve the family in planning and does not listen to our input or concerns. Blame and deflection. Rather than accepting responsibility for ongoing issues, staff have tried to shift blame onto our family—even suggesting we are responsible for their staff's mental health problems. This is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Neglect of personal hygiene and care. My sister is often left in unclean conditions, with no attention to hygiene or cleanliness. Her living environment is unhygienic and not properly maintained. Poor quality and repetitive meals. She is constantly served the same food, lacking in both nutrition and variety. No community access or stimulation. There are no outings, no engagement, no effort to improve her quality of life. She is simply left to exist without any meaningful activity or support. Disrespect toward family members. We are treated as if our input doesn’t matter, spoken to with disrespect, and excluded from important decisions. Neglect of property maintenance. The lawns and outdoor areas have been left untouched for over six months, yet we continue to be charged for services that are clearly not being delivered. This level of neglect is not only unacceptable—it is dangerous. We have made multiple complaints to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and another formal report is currently being prepared. This provider has failed our family and, more importantly, failed my sister. Vulnerable individuals deserve better. Families deserve better. To anyone considering this provider: do not do it. You will regret it.
