Google MapsBeware of them adding undisclosed fees per appt!!!! Cos cost of living isn't bad enough. I've been going to PhysioXtra for over 10 years. Started in the city. As far as I'm aware, this secret fee, which depends on provider for being 'senior' or some excuse came in within the last year. Though I haven't seen any of the providers listed as senior on the website, they have been very young? Unless they charge extra for everyone now. I pay alot for my health insurance to get large discounts on it and now they over charging on set fees? My health insurance paid everything to a gap of $7.9. I was advised, with the EFTPOS thrusted at me the gap was $13? Admin too busy chatting to acknowledge my confusion. This "adding an on the top fee" now is extremely rough when they get paid $158 an hour? ($79 per half an hour for a subsequent appt would be more if new issue I believe). I've worked with HICAPs and health insurance for years and I'm unaware of any way you can just over charge on set fees. Staff turn over seems quite high as well. The past 4 pyhsio's I've seen have left and I have never been notified. Overall, I'm not impressed with the hidden fees, which I assumed I was dodging with chosing a members first. But it doesn't matter even if your insurance has them as a preferred provider. It's an absolutely disgusting process.
