I am a family member. My sister has been at Regis Ringwood for several years.I am so happy with the way she has been looked after. The staff are so professional and caring. The RNs contact me about aspect of my sister's health on a regular basis. The Manager's door is always open and the lifestyle staff work hard to provide activities for the residents every day. This is one of the Transition Care Program (TCP) sites that Monash Health (Kingston Centre) uses as a dumping ground for elderly patients that they cannot safely discharge home. During my mother's stay at Regis Dandenong North, from February 2026 to May 2026, there were multiple billing issues that should have been resolved before she was transferred to the Dandenong North site. It came across as though Monash Health and Regis were not working well together and my family was bounced around from person to person, with no one really taking any accountability. I feel that my mother experienced a lot of pain and her dignity was compromised because she was forced to do things that she clearly did not want to do under the guise of ticking boxes for her TCP program. Staff were stern and saying the right things but it didn't come across warm and friendly at all. Services that were listed in the brochures and website, such as hairdressing, were not offered, resulting in my father having to cut my mother's hair at her bedside. I feel deeply concerned after reading other reviews for this site around the same time period, which motivates me to flag these concerns with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. If you are faced with a TCP placement at this site, I highly recommend pushing back for the sake of your loved one.
